Mr Turton is an exceptional surgeon and a lovely person. I was unfortunately born with a congenital breast deformity resulting in severe asymmetry and tuberous breast deformity. I searched for many years to find a surgeon with the knowledge and skills to help correct my problem. Mr Turton was recommended to me and I travelled 3hrs each trip to Leeds to seek his help. I underwent 2 operations, initially to correct the deformity with mastoplexy and then 3 months later a breast augmentation. This involved 2 admissions to the Leeds Nuffield as a private patient. I received superb care from Gerry, Mr Turton's specialist nurse and all the other ward and theatre staff. Both of my operations went extremely well and I am delighted with the result. I left all the decisions regarding the augmentation and implant size to Mr Turton's expert judgement and I am delighted with the result, size and shape of my new breasts. For the first time in my life I can wear anything, go bra-less and choose any bikini. Mr Turton is a specialist breast surgeon who has years of experience working with breast cancer patients. This knowledge of reconstructive surgery allows him to bring unique skills to his cosmetic work and his surgical skill surpasses that of any other breast surgeon I have ever encountered. As a doctor myself, I appreciate Mr Turton's surgical skills and I am astounded and delighted at how my scars have healed and settled so quickly thanks to his care and delicate suturing. I cannot recommend Mr Turton highly enough for any breast surgery. When you choose Mr Turton as your surgeon you will be guaranteed an honest, professional, kind surgeon who listens to you as a patient. I simply cannot thank this gentleman enough for fixing me! Pre surgery: 32 B with 3cm asymmetry and tuberous breast deformity Post surgery: 32 E (as requested) no asymmetry and normal breast size, shape and nipple position

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2007 and I was seen within days of my biopsy to get my results. When Mr Turton gave me my results, he was kind, compassionate and really made me feel reassured and at ease. He explained everything thoroughly from start to finish and I knew I was in safe hands. He also gave me the opportunity to ask any questions. During my treatment I was offered many different options but Mr Turton advised me on the best course of action for treatment. When it came to having my operation, he explained what the process would be clearly and I knew he had my best interests at heart and was aiming for the best outcome for me. I felt comforted and relaxed about the process. After the operation I didn't quite know what to expect, but I was delighted with the results under the circumstances. I was also feeling emotional and Mr Turton visited me and came and sat with me. He showed great compassion and had a caring bedside manner, always keeping me optimistic and upbeat. The reconstruction work he completed was brilliant, ensuing symmetry and the aesthetic look was exactly as I had hoped. The aftercare he provided was fantastic. He always addressed any concerns I had and answered question, keeping me informed. He took an interest in both myself and my family and his care was always personal and dedicated.

Mr. turton was absolutely fantastic from my first initial consultation right up until my 10 week post op appointment. Prior to my surgery he explained in great detail the type of procedure I would be having and he was more than happy to answer my very long list of questions and never made me feel rushed. In my final appointment before my surgery he was extremely sympathetic to me feeling anxious and apprehensive and completely reassured me. Mr. Turton visited me on the ward after my surgery and again showed a genuine concern for my well being. I cannot thank Mr.Turton and all his team at St.James hospital for the way I was treated from start to finish. Mr.Turton always made me feel like a person and not a patient and I would highly recommend him to anybody considering having this surgery. (elective nipple sparing double mastectomy ) Thank you!!

I was diagnosed with DCIS in June 2015 and shortly after I had a left mastectomy and reconstruction. Three months later I had a reduction of the right breast. Mr Turton was my surgeon and I can't thank him enough. He is very approachable and I feel that he listens to me and that my views and my feelings are very important to him. This time last year I couldn't have imagined that I would feel this good. Looking at me you would have no idea of the surgery that I have had. I am so pleased and proud of my new breasts .

I under went a Breast Augmentation under the care of Mr Turton's care on the 29th Feb 2016, and I cannot thank Mr Turton enough for the outcome of my recent breast augmentation at Nuffield Hospital. At my first consultation he made me feel at ease and relaxed, he was very thorough explaining things very clearly. The whole process was extremely professional and it was great to meet him and his surgical team before I went down to surgery. The aftercare received from all the nurses was fantastic especially Gerry Mr Turton’s nurse who looked after me throughout. I would highly recommend Mr Turton to anyone looking for an experienced breast augmentation surgeon. If anyone has any questions that they are worried about and would like answering i would be more than happy to answer them
